Now in it’s 15th year, The Fright Hike is a fun family night, walking through the dark and scary scenes performed along a 1-mile trail. Wandering Spooks help create a scary time throughout the hike. $5 per person plus $5 vehicle sticker. Music in the staging area to be enjoyed before and after the hike. A bon fire is available to warm up and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate after the event. Or come early and have a grilled hot dog, cookies and popcorn from the concession stand. Local junior high and high school groups who volunteer their time to this event perform the scenes. The Town of Delafield Park and Recreation Commission and the Friends of Lapham Peak State Park dedicate their time and talents to putting this event together each year. All the money raised will benefit the Town of Delafield Parks, Lapham Peak State Park and the Lake Country Organizations/Clubs that help make this event a fun night.
